D+ Simulator
Detects the charging process by the rising voltage of the starting battery (> 13.7 V). This control signal is then used to trigger a cut-off relay, for example. If the voltage drops below 13 V
(engine OFF), the control signal is interrupted. The D+ simulator is used if no control signal (D+) is available from the alternator or is difficult to tap.
