MPPT solar charge controller for two batteries 350 Wp
MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) solar controllers automatically determine the maximum power output of the solar modules. The voltage surplus of the solar modules is converted into charging current for the battery, which enables a significantly higher efficiency. This charging current gain ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of the solar panels.
The solar controller is fully automatic, maintenance-free and offers the following functions:
- 10% to 30% more charging current compared to conventional controllers by using the latest microprocessor controlled MPP control technology (efficiency > 95%).
- Switchable charging characteristics for optimal charging of batteries:
- Two battery charging ports:
- Automatic charging of the main/board battery.
- Support charge and trickle charge (max. 1 A) of the starter battery
- Protection against overload, overheating, reverse polarity and back discharge of the battery (in case of insufficient solar power, e.g. at dusk and at night) for monitoring-free charging.
- Overcharge protection: reduction of charging current when solar power is too high and battery is full. Immediate recharging when power is consumed to always ensure the best possible battery charge level.
Options:
- Connection of a temperature sensor:
Automatic adaptation of the charging characteristic to the battery temperature.
At low temperatures, the full charge of the weaker battery is improved; at higher temperatures, unnecessary battery gassing and loading is avoided.
This is highly recommended when the battery is exposed to large temperature fluctuations or when using LiFePo4 batteries.
- Solar Remote Display Connection:
The solar remote display can show the following values on the LCD display: Battery voltage, charge current, charge capacity, stored capacity and energy (V, A, W, Ah, Wh).
- Bluetooth module connection:
With the optional Bluetooth module, it is possible to display on a smartphone by means of free app (available on Google Play and AppStore) all the important information such as: Battery voltage, charge current, charge capacity, stored capacity and energy (V, A, W, Ah, Wh).
