Queensize Camper hot water mixer tap retractable [Dark Edition]
The well-known Queensize Camper retractable mixer tap is now also available in the [Dark Edition] in a dark matt color to match the sinks.
The dark color gives your camper a beautiful accent and the folding function allows you to extend your work surface when the tap is folded into the sink and closed with a cover.
The tap has a locking point every 45° and the spout can be rotated freely through 360°.
Water control
The mixer tap is equipped with a push-button mixing cartridge that mixes the water temperature (adjustable via the rotary handle) and opens/closes the outlet by pressing on the front.
In addition, a start/stop aerator is fitted to the outlet, which stops or restarts the water with a light press on the small “pin” (e.g. with the back of the hand). This is a clever way to save water.
If you also want to be able to reduce the flow rate, we offer the optional volume aerator, which, in addition to controlling the water jet volume between 20 and 100 percent, is equipped with a ball joint and even has a 2-jet nozzle! Simply replace this with the start/stop aerator.
Connection
Use the supplied flexible hoses to connect the fitting to your pressurized water system (recommended minimum pressure 1 bar, max. 4 bar). The hose has a standard M10x1 threaded connection on the fitting side and a 10mm hose nozzle on the other side. A non-return valve is located directly under this (which you can also remove).
Important note regarding frost: To avoid frost damage, the outlet must be completely emptied during the cold season. The best way to do this is to unscrew the aerator on the outlet and open the cartridge and set it to the middle position. Due to the non-return valves, the water must be blown out in the direction of pumping, it will not run backwards.
Color
The [Dark Edition] has a matt surface which comes very close to the color RAL 7020 “Umbra Grey”. It is clearly not a deep black.
Important note on the coating: This is a stainless steel product which has been treated with a high-quality PVD coating to give it its dark, matt color. We are convinced that we can offer a very good product here. BUT: A coating on stainless steel does not withstand every mechanical load. We have therefore fitted a second O-ring to the spout to protect it should it ever rest on the bottom of the sink. Unlike the sink, the surface of the mixer tap is smooth and not as scratch-resistant as the textured sink. You should be aware of this when purchasing this coated stainless steel product.
Our tip: clean the mixer tap with a soft cloth or sponge, not with the hard side of a household sponge or even with steel wool. Material: AISI 304 stainless steel
