This semi-flexible solar panel is ultra-flat and optimal for slightly curved surfaces. They are bendable up to 2.5% of the total length.
This solar panel as frameless version comes with Sunpower cells of the highest quality class. Equipped with rear contacts and a laminated fiberglass plate which gives stability despite low weight (3.5 kg). Microlenses in the EFTE surface ensure minimized susceptibility to fouling and reduce the amount of reflected radiation at flat sun angles.
With a particularly low temperature coefficient and special internal circuitry for a high open-circuit voltage, this solar panel enables more energy output* even at higher temperatures as well as at dusk.
The solar panel is equipped with a 7m (2x4mm2 ) cable. The connections to the panel are housed in a waterproof junction box.
As a semi-flexible solar panel, it offers the option of a deflection of up to 2.5%. This means that the panel on its total length of 1080mm form a bridge, which may be a maximum of 27mm high in the middle.

*Improved temperature coefficient ensures 25% less power loss due to heating (compared to conventional panels). To explain: the manufacturer's performance specification always refers to 25 degrees cell temperature. However, a panel in the sun will easily reach 70°C, which results in significantly less power. In winter, on the other hand, a panel may well provide more power than originally specified by the manufacturer due to the low temperatures. These panels offer more power even at higher temperatures as well as in twilight. Responsible for this are the cells used, which are significantly more sensitive to a broader light spectrum. This means that charging is possible earlier in the morning and longer in the evening. With an efficiency of 24.2 %, this solar module permanently generates more energy than comparable models on the market.
