The central electrical system as the heart of professional electrical installations
The TEXU200 is a DC high-current distributor for up to 200A total current. Positive and negative busbars are integrated for connecting batteries/battery banks and loads, as well as a factory-installed shunt bridge on the split negative busbar for optional integration of a total current measurement and/or a main switch. All connections are fused and fuse failure monitoring is provided on the consumer side. TEXU400 is ignition-protected against flammable gases in accordance with ISO8846.

The TEXU family with TEXU200 and TEXU400 revolutionises electrical installation. The round central electrical unit combines many components, which previously had to be purchased individually, in a single overall housing. This shape optimises the use of space and the number of possible connections in the smallest possible space, and reduces the amount of cabling required for the system in a ground-breaking way. It also enables cost and labour savings while reducing sources of error and maximising user convenience even after installation.

Central electrics for campers and boats: 

Costs less The TEXU200 replaces the purchase of individual fuse holders and busbars. Production, packaging and shipping of individual components with corresponding purchase prices are eliminated, and valuable raw materials (especially copper) are saved. The elimination of crimp connections also means that less consumables such as cable lugs, shrink tubing etc. are used. These advantages result in a significantly lower purchase price compared to individual components of equivalent quality.   Savings in required installation space The combination of individual components into a single, cleverly designed part further reduces the amount of valuable space required in the campervan. The most striking feature of the TEXU family, the unique, round design, allows most connections to be combined in the smallest possible space.   Savings in working time and sources of error The combination of busbars and fuse holders "incidentally" makes half of all cable crimps superfluous! This saves a huge amount of work and additional installation material such as cable lugs, heat-shrink tubing etc. In addition, 50% fewer crimps also means 50% less stress with connections that can cause trouble (during installation or later when travelling). In addition, the stacking of cable lugs due to inadequate earth distribution is a thing of the past, which also makes a decisive contribution to a professional, functionally reliable installation.

Components and functions overview:  

Negative busbar Connect 1 battery or battery bank, plus 4 high-current and 4 standard consumers. Positive busbar for on-board batteries and consumers Screw connections and fuses 2x MEGA / AMG fuse max. 200A 3x MIDI / AMI fuse max. 180A 4x ATO / ATC / ATP fuse max. 25A All connection studs are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, M8 and M4 with flange nuts for secure connection of cable lugs up to 70 mm² or up to 50 mm². 1:1 mass distribution No more inadequate mass distribution: Just like the TEXU400, the TEXU200 has a negative connection for every positive connection.   Ignition-protected Both TEXU central electrical units are ignition-protected in accordance with ISO 8846 thanks to the integrated, all-round bar with seal, which means they are also approved for installation in the engine compartment. LED failure check with fibre optics Fibre optics light up the LED failure check directly on the labelling of the circuits in the closed cover, enabling quick and reliable diagnosis. A sticker set for labelling is included in the scope of delivery.   Space for spare fuses The TEXU200 contains additional slots for spare fuses (1x MEGA, 1x MIDI, 2x ATO/ATC/ATP) Convenient opening and closing The knob in the centre of the housing cover makes it easy to open and close the cover and even allows one-handed operation in confined spaces.

 

Note: Individual electrical systems always consist of different components, these must be suitably fused, therefore no prefabricated fuse set is included with the TEXU200. Of course, you will find suitable fuses and installation material in our shop.
